noted - first meeting a success

The first inaugural relaunch meeting of noted has been a great success, Well over 20 musicians and audience crammed into the cozy interior of the Legh Arms function room. I think it is safe to say that we succeeded in our aims to accomodate and encourage any and all styles and standards, with music ranging from Mike's "Classical Gas" to Chris's rock soliloquy to late middle-age, and from Stu's 60's pop to John's ragtime.

Even the audience got in on the act; Dave, Sal, Elizabeth, Rosemary and Helen taking the open-mic to perform an excellent version of Carole King's "Will you still love me tomorrow", and there was also Pete & Sal's pop classics, Chris's guest singer, Jill, and Graham's suprise jazz number. All in all, a very eclective and entertaining mixture.
