noted notes from the notable notees at last night's discussion at The Angel

Thanks to everyone who made it to the Angel last night and also to those who put in their thoughts by 'e' mail.

Key decisions/actions are:

1. Noted venue is moving to the Angel with immediate effect. So, the November 16th meeting will be the first one at the new venue.

2. In December, the Noted evening will be Sunday 14th, (our usual 3rd Sunday in the month would otherwise make this 21st, which we recognised is a bit too close to Christmas for many).

3. Graham Boler has kindly offered to provide a single point of communications for Noted meetings and the Noted web site - but we will continue to rotate the hosting of the evenings. Hosts for Nov are Stuart C and Graham.

4. Basic format is regarded as working well - so no changes to our regular meetings

5. We will hire a standard set of PA equipment in for future club meetings, to provide a consistent set of kit - Many thanks to Mike and Stuart M who have kept us going so far

6. We will organise another Noted 'special' probably may'ish next year and we are also looking at occasionally suggesting themed nights for some of the regular club nights

7.Everyone is very committed to continue the relaxed 'open to all' style and we remain really keen to invite newcomers/new musical styles/younger musicians etc

8.A general plea from those who organise the regular club nights, for the rest of us to become a bit prompter in getting our song requests in !
