Another good noted night in April

Thanks to the many contributors and the enthusiastic audience, we had another excellent noted evening on 20th April. The upward trend continues (in quantity, at least!), and the range of musical styles is excellent.

There was music-hall from Pete & Stu, classical and finger-picking from Mike and John, some rock & roll & Bowie from Paul and Tony, more Bowie from Chris & Jill as well as some S&C, S&G from Dave and Elizabeth, blues from Mike Wilding, modern gospel from Graham, Elizabeth & Rosemary and many more memorable performances. We also found that resident drummer Peter has a fine voice and played on despite the many drummer jokes from MC Pete T (that’s Thompson, not Tong!), we had a good selection of open-mic offerings, and a fine debut from Tim supported by John & Dave.
