Many apologies to those who had planned music at Sunday's event.

We have decided to postpone to July, in view of unavailability of many of our regulars.  We know that there were a few new performers and some distance travellers planning to come, and hopefully this notification has reached you in time.

Again, we apologies for this break in service. Please do not adjust your set. Normal service will be resumed as soon as possible, and probably before the next goal by England....

Many thanks to the NOTEES who helped raise money for Hope Through Action last week. Pictures will be uploaded as soon as I can find them. £1400 was raised for a childrens' centre in Mbekweni township.

Hello notees

Following a remarkable April club night, with debut performance of occasional notee Dean's new band, "Le Funk", an impromptu version of Hotel California by the 2 Stuarts, and a plethora of more folky performances, we move on to May.

This month the theme is "music", which unfortunately rules me out this time. However, for the rest of you, it should give enough scope - and a chance for those affected by "THE ASH" (no, not the 70's rock band, but the volcanic cloud) to perform their rehearsed but unperformed ditties.

(I think I'm still affected by the Ash... those dual guitar solos...)
Anyway...

Welcome to the "noted" newsletter for April. 

Time to start dusting down the glockenspiel and waving wildly at the theremin, in preparation for April's "noted" club night.  Following last month's hugely entertaining mix of old, older and really ancient material (with the exception of Rebecca), we are looking forward this month to ... well, we're looking forward this month.
