Hello, "notees"

that time is upon us again, wherefore we harken to the stirrups of our muse, quoff a deep, rich, mixed-metaphor and promise never again to eat a whole volume of Shakepeare....

This coming Sunday is NOTED club night, and this is a reminder to performers and guests, not to write dodgy prose, but to prepare for another dollop of Knutsford's most eclectic music. So, poterntial performers, please pen your possible ...er... tunes by reply or on the website.

I promised Peter Kearton a plug for his band Hydra.

They are performing at the Red Lion, Goostrey on 16th May, just a short hop down the road for "notees". He would love to see as many of us as can make it.

The following night, of course, is the next NOTED club night (Sunday 17th May) - back to the regaular purveying of cheese in all its varieties. You can leave song suggestions on the website using the Submission Form listed on the left column. More details about club night will follow in the next week or so.

CONCERT TOP 10

A nice little feature has appeared on the website - the concert performances top 10, as listened to online. Look for the "top10 contributed songs" on the left column. Your vote counts, literally!

A huge thankyou to all performers and guests who came along to the 2nd bi-annual Noted Concert, and the first at The Angel Hotel. You made a great night memorable.

In front of a hugely appreciative audience, the brave amateur musicians of Knutsford strutted their stuff. From the Fields of Athenrye, via the Hotel California to Africa, all (or most) corners of the musical world were wonderfully represented. And marvellously entertaining it all was.
